EDIT: YouTube is making me more confused

Like the entire wall a solid black? Simplest method for me is to use the Magnetic Lassa Tool to select the area behind you, then do whatever you need to do whether it's deleting that portion of the layer or just painting the entire area black using the bucket tool.

ty I'm using a brush rn, it wasn't letting me use the magnetic tool for some reason giving me headaches which is why I turned to youtube and here

Unless you have a lot of patience, that's going to take a while ahahhaa. I was able to use the magnetic tool when opening your file so try restarting the application.

I did it LOL, I think my photoshop is corrupted bc it is giving me some error code too, will have to reinstall ;(

Welcome to Adobe products hahahaa. In my previous installation, it would crash instantly the moment I try to add in text.
