Apple may be bricking repaired IPhone with new IOS update

This morning I checked my Youtube Subscriptions and found this video about how the latest version of IOS appears to brick phones with third party screens A.K.A. any phone that has had it's screen replaced by a non-Apple store, since Apple refuses to sell their screens to other vendors.  Thereby eliminating any competition in the screen repair space for anyone except for their Apple stores.
