what is the best (most powerful) g20bm_a68 processor with a fm + socket? can not find a single proxesor with fm + socket. right now i have an amd fx 770k

You really shouldn't upgrade that path...

If you have the budget right now, it's ideal to save it until you reach to ryzen or coffee lake. don't buy anything from AMD processors from 2016 and below, you won't benefit any from them since most of their chipsets are too old for upgrade.

FM+ doesn't exist, your FX 770K is a FM2+ CPU. The fastest FM2+ CPU is the Athlon X4 880K. Mind you, that CPU is 3,5 years old so I wouldn't spend much on it at all....

Yes. Get a Ryzen 3 1200 (or better yet, its successor), B350 motherboard and 8GB DDR4 and you'll have a nice upgrade path for the future. If you only have a few tenners to spare, just leave your system as is and save up.

Yes. Get a Ryzen 3 1200, B350 motherboard and 8GB DDR4 and you'll have a nice upgrade path for the future. If you only have a few tenners to spare, just leave your system as is and save up.

Do you mean I will buy a new chassis, graphics card etc? would not it just be possible to upgrade to a new motherboard?

No. You can't get a Ryzen board and put your DDR3 memory and FX CPU on it. You need a new CPU and new memory. Nobody said anything about your graphics card or case.

Also, be sure to check the size of your PC case before buying a new motherboard. If your case can support ATX and above, then you're good to go.

At this point, i would just recommend grabbing an r3 2200g and a cheap board and ram. There's no real faster chip on that socket unfortunately
