integrated GPU is good enough for basic 1080p gaming, dont bother with the Ryzen 5 since it's not fast enough to justify the extra price.

so i might get this ryzen 3 (or the five) www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16819113481

and they come with integrated graphics.. are integrated graphics good for 1080p (light) gaming? or do i need to get a gpu as well?

Thanks In Advance

Just get like a 1050 or something rather than the ryzen 5 most games will play much better that way.

I wouldn't get an APU for gaming. They're good for when you just want to build an efficient PC that doesn't need to handle intense graphical workloads, but not here. Get a Ryzen 3 1200 (or 2200 when it comes out) or Ryzen 5 1400/1600 (or 2400/2600 when they come out), and pair it with a GTX 1050 or 1050 Ti.

But a r3 1200 + 1050 ti will round up to  400$+ in canadian vs the r3 apu for 120$

exactly but not having a gpu seems to hurt performance in intense graphical performance.

it would be cheaper (duh)  but im not cheeping out (a ton).

gpu+cpu it is! Thanks!
