Sounds more like something is up with your OS. Try to clean it up by closing background tasks, etc.

Just remember--If all fails, just reinstall Windows (or whatever OS you're using)

"May your frame rates be high and your temperatures low"

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

I think I'm going to reinstall my OS - do you recommend any tricks to make it easier? Such as formatting HDDs + Boot SSD or how should i go from here.

If you don't care about your data, just do a clean reinstall. Windows 10 has a built-in reset feature that's pretty handy.

40 GBS

Just to confirm, you have 40 GB RAM and not 4 GB RAM? Asking because 40GB is an odd amount, although definitely do-able using say 2x 16GB stick plus an 8GB stick.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | REDACTED - 50GB US + CAN Data for $34/month
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: iPad Mini 5 | Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.1
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

Yes @v0nn_toaster I cleaned my pc recently and it didn't really do anything. I had an Rx 460 + GTX 980 together. So i removed my Rx 460 and i kept my gtx 980 only, but the speed is the same. Do you think the hard drive is at fault? I do have 2 old hard drive where i run games from.

If you have many background tasks running while you are doing computationally intensive tasks on your computer...

How come? i thought 40 gbs would be enough to run 2 screen with just minecraft and netflix? I tried not running netflix while i play it seems to help me get about 32 fps

More DRAM does not mean it will always make your computer faster, sometimes more RAM can make machines slower, but not by much. Can you list your full computer specs?
