I assume that PERHAPS this is some sort of ooze from the thermal pads, maybe fans, but is it conductive? anyone know what might ooze out of a thermal pad or fan?

The only similar I've seen is some oil leaking from the fan used as lubrication. Is that forming a puddle? That seems to be rather a lot!

Out of curiosity... do you know the history of the GPU? Could it have been in a mineral oil PC at some point?

or it might be the same problems these people were having:

They don't heat cycle. they've been at 70C for 4 weeks straight with fans at 50%.

possibly, i'll check those out in a min.

Grow a pair man. It's not going to kill you. It's probably just fan oil.

  • 3 months later...

Sorry, this is old but I'm just posting to counteract the misinformation in this topic.

That's not condensation or oil from the fans.

It's definitely coming from the thermal pads on the DRAM chips or VRMs and it's pretty normal for cards that have been subjected to 24/7 abuse like mining cards. I have a few cards that have been mining for a long time and they started oozing after a few months since they were new. That liquid is neither conductive or corrosive, so nothing to worry about.
