then dont overclock

Did you switch to PCiE for graphics in your BIOS settings?

DDU in safe mode and reinstall the drivers fresh new, also delete whatever program you used to overclock the GPU.

You had this issue before the overclock? What game are you trying to play? Got any advanced settings on that will fuck you gpu up like SMAA or upscaling?

Ok... the CPU not being pegged at 100% is a GOOD thing as long as your GPU usage is >95%

 

the next thing to figure out is your GPU performance. For that will need:

1- full specs including the OC

2- thermal data

3- performance metrics such as FPS/CPU/GPU thermals and performance

4- the game/software with issues including settings. Look for anything that says “scaling”

Turns out the problem was due to the fact that I was running win 7 on a Kaby Lake cpu . Intel said that kaby lake is not compatible with win 7 but I still got it working for some time. 

 

Thank you all for your advice! I never thought it wiould be all windows related. Anyway, everything is good now. Once again, thank you!
