Mouse and so I keyboard not working?

I fixed an old PC and put one of my own other HDDs in it and there was Windows 7 on it. I started up the PC and everything works fine I am now at the control alt delete type in screen before the login. The keyboard and mouse don't work though. The mouse gives an led effect when it's on in it gives it now to although the mouse won't work. In de bios n Stuff the keyboard did work.. I tried plugging them in all USB slots but it just won't work. And I don't know what the problem is could you guys please help me?
