EVGA 1080 FTW Temps

Lately been noticing some higher temps with my EVGA 1080 FTW.

Idle is about 43C-45C and in game is the low 80's.

I've tried a couple things, power modes, fan curves and i still feel like it's hotter then I'd like.

Case airflow is good and all the fans on the card are running.

 

Any ideas?

you could try adjusting the fan curves. What is your room ambient temp?

Just adjust the fan curve

Just keeping this here as a When did you buy the card?


I had two of the 1080 FTW's and they had some heat issues with the original run. They sent me some thermal pad kits and had BIOS updates to change the fan curves that were supposed to reduce temps quite a bit...

Seems like an air flow issue. If both cars are actually spinning.
