Budget gamimg laptops

I recently started searching for budget gaming laptops for approximately 1000 dollars and i came accros the predator helios 300. I watched some reviews and I was wondering if it's a good laptop for the price or are there better laptops for this price?

I highly recommend the helios 300. You should really watch this review. This laptop is really budget oriented and well rounded.

Also take a look at the Inspiron 7000 series. Price varies from region to region however.

Both are good choices, so it largely depends on personal preference and the pricing in your region. I must however clarify that I own an Inspiron 7000 and haven't dealt with the Helios 300 personally

Helios 300 has OKish CPU cooling due to outdated cooling design. Dell 7577 is better despite Max-Q 1060 (can be tuned further). Also consider N850HP6 and N950KP6 (desktop CPU) with repaste. Y520 (1060 Max-Q 6GB) and Y720 can be a good buy too if you can find them under 1000.
