Hey all, I'm starting a new position at the same company I work at soon and it will be based in essentially advertising. Im going to need to design a website, do some photo and video editing and what not. I use Adobe but wont be anything super intensive on it. The PC at work is  just horrid and I don't want to spend my days just waiting around for everything on it. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/greedygengar/saved/NN2ccf This is what I came up with, but I'm not super knowledgeable in the field so thought I should ask those who are. Could I shave couple more bucks here or there? Or would it just be useless to try. Thanks, so much everyone!

Since you're doing nothing involving 3d then you can remove the gpu from the list and just use the onboard. Since you dont have a gpu you can get a less wattage power supply then as well.

that ssd is also way overpriced get a cheaper one.

There's no reason to buy a GTX 1050, just get the R5 2400G

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

If you're going for the 6 core or 8 core it's likely worth waiting for April 19th, and just grabbing like the cheapest GPU with a video output in that case, no need for a GT 1030 even.
