New PCer headset

Hello my friends. I have a buddy that is trying to break into PC gaming and is looking for a good headset. I'm looking for recommendations. They have to have a removable or hideable mic, be good with/for phones and PS4s, and have to be under $100. They like extra bass if that helps any. Good luck, and have fun :) 

 

PS they will be mostly playing on a laptop with a combo audio jack.
