[SOLVED] Google looks like an old version on my desktop PC

Hi everyone,

Since the beginning of this month, something quite wierd happens on my computer. Searches on Google take several seconds before starting to load and the results page looks like an old version of Google.

For example, this is what the image search looks like . There is no "more tools" option to specify a minimal size or whatever else.

The regular search also looks somewhat "old-version" and is very long to start. Everything else works fine, for instance google maps loads very fast. I don't know what has changed since the searches became slow and "differen".

Do you have any clue?

I've seen this before, and it turned out to be a ransomware. Download and run Malwarebytes.

Thanks, that did the trick! There was a malware which for some reason was tunneling my connection through a proxy and modifying the URLs...

...Plus a coin mining malware!

Thanks a lot.
