Motherboard help

Im looking for a motherboard right now, and i notice some motherboards have 8 ram slots for 64gb of ram, but im looking for a lga 1151 motherboard for my i7 8700k, why does motherboards that support this specific cpu not have 8 ram slots?

The 8 slot boards are not for your 8700k, those are for LGA 2066 chips on the X299 chipset, You need a Z370 chipset board.

Seems more like you need a Z370...and do you really need a 64GB of ram, its super expensive these days for ram
