Crashed and ?recovered? HDD

Ok, so this sorta sucks hella hard.
I lost 2tb of movies and shows that I had accumulated over the years, but was lucky enough to recover all the files. Now the issue is that every. single. file. has now been given arbitrary names from the recovery software I used i.e. "FILE1337" FILE8008.... Is there ANY way to recover the file names or am I just boned and have to watch each file and remember the names???

If you haven't tried Recuva yet, I think I remember files being recovered with their original names.

I'd say it's worth a shot, but I'd recommend that you move the stuff you've recovered off of the HDD.

I had tried that but I guess I wasn't as lucky as you..
Is there a way to sorta batch process the files themselves to get the names like Tineye or Google image search or is that some like 5 years down the road AI stuff?
