Android ROM on Fire 10 Tablet

Hi,

 

Just wanting to know if its a good idea to install a android rom on a Fire 10 tablet, so I can control my smart home with it instead of my phone with google apps.

 

Any tips or issues regarding OS and hardware would be great to know.

yeah why not, if its available.

usually custom rom is a firmware that is ported unofficially, not 100% working.

i use custom rom just to play with my new phone, for day to day i switch back to the real one, cause its just buggy.
