I tried to research the history/ origins/ creator (CEO) of Cablemod.

But there is not even a Wikipedia page about them, does anyone know anything about them?

They're under the party TL Sourcing Limited, but they are based in Asia where they have facilities for manufacturing sleeved cables. Not sure about the specific people however.

LOL!  Why?  Don't know if you can trust them?

I don't know if they want me giving out their names, but in the industry they are very well known guys with a long history in PC peripherals that got tired of working for shitty bosses so they started their own company.

How's that?  ;-)

It was never about trust issues. I am one of their customers, they have great service and I recommended them to my friends who also bought their products. I'm just curious that's all

Use the power of search engines and make a guess who build there website. If you search a bit more you will find more for example where the server is located. You will get a adress (constructed 2012).

By asking the question on this tech forum, I would have hoped someone would have valid and precise information that I wouldn't have to infere while risking to induce incorrect information

Look at the website, parts of it looks handwritten:

					<!--// CLOSE #page-wrap //-->
					</div>
									<!--// CLOSE .pb-fw-wrap //-->
					</div>
			<!--// CLOSE #main-container //-->
			</div>

next check the google analytic ID: many websites use the same ID. One of them is the site of a small webdeveloper. This is can be the creater of the website.

For the server loccation just make a trace root. In this case it goes to Hetzner in Falkenstein.

To much inferring?

Who about a shipping they have done from hongkong port to Performance Pc  (429kg) or one shipping more form shenzen (no surprise that the product is from shenzen)?

If you start searching a bit more you can get more.

This was just 1min. search with the right search engine. To be honest they try not to share personal information.

I was not aware I could do that, in fact I doubt most people do. That's why I think I still did the right choice posting on the forum.

Where do I begin? There is so much in the pipeline... but think about one part of the computer for which we are famous and no one offers RGB yet... ;)

Looking forward to seeing what you have to offer but "something RGB that no one offers yet" , Meh I have my doubts as the last time you said something similar it turned out that a few places already made/sold the same.

Are we talking about RGB cables?!

RGB cables already exist and I've seen some RGB sata Cables as well.

What is left to turn to RGB? Pretty much every part that could have RGB has RGB now.

  • 5 years later...

Bumping this thread because I'm currently trying to get a refund from Cablemod and they said they can't do a paypal refund to "my country". As in the USA. So clearly they aren't based in the US and their website says absolutely nothing about where they are located which is a little strange. Don't know why they need to hide this.
