Monitor not power in up.

truemax

Hi

Recently i purchased and installed SSD.
And i started noticing that my monitor won't power up, when i was with regular hard drive everything seemed to be ok.

So i power up system, keyboard and mouse led will turn on, but monitor not. Re plugging, pressing power key not doing anything.

So i have to switch off pc few times until my monitor decides to power on with the system.

How does installing SSD is related to my monitor problem?
Or is it monitor itself?

On second thought my build is AMD so maybe it's my gpu(1060) and not the monitor causing this?

correlation is not causation. i highly doubt it has anything at all to do with the SSD. try re-seating the graphics card and making sure all the power cables are plugged in properly, you could have knocked something loose while installing the SSD
