I'm currently running a monstrously sized thermaltake tower 900. While i do love how it looks as a display piece, i've come to realize that its size is hugely impractical and a bit difficult as well.

That being said, i'm trying to find something that's at least a little bit slimmer. The ability to house both HDDs and a decently sized radiator (or multiple ones) is a must. In my current case I have two independent loops, one with a 360mm rad and the other with a 480mm (i know, overkill). I'd love to use at least one of these radiators as i'm cooling an 8700k and 1080ti, both of which are overclocked. Obviously i'll be downsizing to a single loop instead of two independent ones.

The Phanteks Enthoo Primo seems to be a good fit, but i'm curious as to what others may recommend. Also, reasonable price range please, let's keep this at or under $300 if possible.

The Phanteks Enthoo Prime is definitely an awesome option! I'm not sure the length of your 1080Ti, but I really like the Fractal Design Meshify C case, which is small, but has good airflow. If your 1080Ti can fit, this would be a great option as well and would be a bit smaller than the Phanteks Enthoo Prime. Plus, only about $90.00 :)

Hello! It's me just passing through :)

Most mid tower and full tower cases can support the 360mm rad (not many that do 480 sadly)

If you want a show piece and the 480mm RAD, you could look at Thermaltake's Core P5. I'ts open air so dust would be a concern

If you care more about downsizing and compacting, here's a loist off the top of my head that can hold 360 rads (top mounted) that dont sacrifice at least 2 HDD bays

Fractal Design Define R6

be quiet! Dark Base 700/900

NZXT H700i (slim only)

Phanteks Enthoo Pro M

Phanteks Enthoo Luxe

Bumping this back up. Out of all the cases mentioned here, it seems only the enthoo primo would be suitable for my needs, as it would allow me to fit all 5 of my mechanical 3.5 drives while also having great radiator and reservoir support. Everything else, I would need to either need to remove the hard drive cages or place the reservoir on the back side of the rig, unless I'm looking at this the wrong way. Any additional recommendations? The enthoo primo is definitely able and gorgeous, but man, $250....

You can fit a thick 360 rad at the top plus multiple HDD's in the Define R6. Could even throw in a slim 360 rad at the front too

Then there's the matter of where does the reservoir go? At this point, I wouldn't be opposed to slimming down to only two 3.5" drives for my storage needs (boot drive is m.2), especially since I know it's going to open up my possibilities by a lot. I like the R6 as it would allow me to use both my existing 480mm and 360mm radiators, but the cost of ALL the 3.5 drive slots for adding a standard radiator/reservoir in the front of the case

You keep 2 3.5" drives in the optional configuration actually
