Single touch Windows 7 driver?

JoKeR-13

Hello Everyone!

So I picked up this little touch screen "Joey" netbook for $10, it's running Windows 7 starter.

I formatted and reinstalled Windows (for obvious reasons) but the touch driver didn't reinstall itself with Windows update and I can't really find any information on this thing. I tried to install the Windows 7 touch pack but because it's only a single touch and not multi those drivers don't install. I have googled but to no avail so I turn to the community. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Specs:

Intel Atom N270 @ 1.6GHz

2GB DDR2 @ 667MHz

Thank You!

Okay so

  1. Open device manager and find the device in it. This is generally the item under Other Devices with a Yellow triangle

  4. Right-Click the Top Value and choose Copy
  5. Paste the value into google
  6. Be VERY careful not to install any Driver Identifiers or Driver Updaters as 99% of the time they're scammy as hell get out but you should be able to find a link to a zip with the installer for the hardware.

Thank you for your quick reply. Sorry for my late reply as I was at work. I did get a chance to try your suggestion but unfortunately it did not yield me any results. The only thing that device manager said wasn't installed was my Chipset driver but I was able to get that installed. Thinking back I really should have checked the drivers that were installed on the system before I formatted it. Anyway, thank you again, I appreciate the detailed reply.
