i3 and gtx 1050ti is it vr ready ..... Owo

all i need to know is how much fps, and thermals if their is any other gpu that is vr ready and is not over 150$ because if you can see i have a i3 and i am poor boy smh, but it needs to run directx 12 and is ddr5 sdram please tell me i am in need.

Don't get cheap VR. Just wait for it to mature, you're honestly not missing out on much.

Depends on whose standard you follow. Intel would say yes, NVIDIA, AMD, Oculus and HTC would all say no.

Having used it, RiftCat is well put together, but the fact that it is wireless and done through a phone, it's definitely nowhere near as good as the real thing.

 

So yeah OP, don't bother unless you just want to test the waters.

maybe at that point anyway not much people play vr its only big games like onwards.

I just tested my VR headset on an i3 4150 and GTX 760 4GB yesterday out of boredom. It was usable but not enjoyable. While looking around you didn't notice the low frames or stutters. When you are trying to hold your head still you make tiny movements with your head, those are VERY noticeable.

 

Not really recommended on any card lower than a GTX 960/R9 380.

probably? a 1050ti wont get you the high framerates you want for VR but it will be visually smooth, just not ideal

any decent dual core from the last decade can probably do the CPU side of VR, the games generally arent too CPU intensive anyway
