8700k temperature

hi all, i just buildt and fine tuned my new sistem, 8700k, maximus x hero cooled by a kraken x62. I am a little bit paranoid to have not very well applied termal compound. My cpu idle 25 that is ok, but under prime95 sometime reach 85 degrees. In aida stress test  and real bench. 70-75 max, 65-70 cinebench. 

In game hoover 40-50, very rarely more then 50-55.

it is overclocked 4.9ghz with 1.28 V. 

are these numbers ok?

Very okay numbers. High temps using synthetic benchmarks (prime, etc.) = normal.

Prime95 is a stress test that forces all cores to work at 100%, 100% of the time. Aida stress test is sort of the same way. They’re more for testing stability. If you haven’t had any crashes, you’re fine. The temps are okay.

 

The temps for games are fine as well. My 7700k hovers around there when playing some CPU intensive games, but I’m okay with that.

oh, another thing, i noticed that i can reach stability at 5ghz feeding 1.32 instead of 1.28 at 4.9, buth i don't known if the little difference worth the extra voltage

Your numbers are normal considering you did not delid.

8700k scalability is 0,04-0,06v per 100mhz. So you are on the lower end (good), if temps are good enough i would do it.
