Xbox.com requesting for a parent's microsoft account.

Underi

I wanted to go check my Xbox live profile on browser due to me currently using Linux mint on my laptop and having no access to my own PC. Once I logged in and tried accessing my profile, I am constantly redirected to a site which guides me how to add my "child" account to a parent account. I'm 17 years old and I apparently cannot access my very own profile? Can't this be disabled or something? I wouldn't want to bother my parents to make a microsoft account and an xbox account just so that I can look at my profile on a browser.

My stuff:

Spoiler

CPU :  Intel i5 8400 | GPU : MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4GB

RAM : 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 @ 3600MHz

Mouse : Logitech G502 HERO SE | Keyboard : Mountain Everest Max w/ Cherry MX Brown

Headset : Beyerdynamics DT990 Pro 250Ω w/ AT2020USB+

Monitor : Acer XF240H @  144Hz

Once a child account is created, Microsoft will classify your account as such until you turn 18 years old. There is really nothing you can do here.
