so Budget is 867.69$ but the real budget is 925.54$ but buying online will have a delivery cost. probably 13-20$ per part depending from where. which is why it's  867.69$

my first build was

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jfwbvn

but someone suggested

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gN8cfH

the second one seems better then the first one. and cheaper.

my question is. is there a better build but same price or the same build[performance wise] but cheaper? if it's the same performance and cheaper please do suggest. if it's better but same price tell me your suggestion build.

EDIT: this is what i came up with to save money just now. p.s these are all the parts i need. i got the rest at home.

tell me what you think? is 8gb enough? for games. ram. is the psu good? as u can see i switched from 1600x to 1600 to save money.

P.S i removed the gtx 1060 6gb cuz im getting it from a local store. the rest i'm buying online.

Do you have an HDD? You're hardly going to be able to install anything on a 128GB drive.

I'd wait for the Ryzen refresh, you should see some good deals on the older processors then. Save a bit of coin.
Why are you going for the 1600x? Just go for the 1600, save some money that way.

Ehhh depends what you're doing really. The 8400 is nice, for sure, but if you're doing a lot of rendering the AMD system is probably better.

It's not as powerful. How much would you save? Are you playing on a 1080p60 monitor?

The fact that the 6GB card is faster is what's going to help you out more.

I wouldn't worry too much about longevity. New cards will always be faster, since you're buying mid range just upgrade again in a couple years.

If >40% of your use case for this computer is gaming then the i5 8400 may be a better idea.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel - Core i5-8400 2.8GHz 6-Core Processor  ($179.00 @ B&H)
Motherboard: Gigabyte - Z370P D3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($99.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill - Aegis 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory  ($87.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Cooler Master - MasterWatt 550W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($33.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $400.96
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

However, the 1600 is no slouch plus its stock cooler isn't complete garbage (and runs cooler with the same cooler anyway) so....eh?

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

What? As I said, there seriously is nothing here :)

In lightly threaded applications it tends to outperform a stock Ryzen 5 1600.

Pretty much any Z370 motherboard that has the features you need is going to be fine.

BTW, I was not suggesting that an i5-8400 would be a better choice in your case, just explaining why it might be.
