$280 monitor budget need help choosing

anonvx

Hi, I am looking to buy a monitor for Graphic Design, Video Editing, Photo editing, and of course gaming. I have $280 to spend. I have come down to two choices, the Samsung CFG70 24' ($279) or the LG 34UMG59-P 34" ($259). According to the specs, the Samsung has a wide color gamut covering 125% of srgb color space while the lg covers 99% of the srgb color space. Samsung also has 144hz vs 75hz. But im not sure if this Qdot tech and VA panel are any good. Any suggestions as far as other monitors for the price. Which should i go for? According the msrp the Samsung looks like a steal.
