You have chosen a bad time to start building my friend.

That said, your build idea doesn't look so bad. I'd scrap the H100i, the wraith cooler should be able to hold its own. Spend the extra money on parts that actually affect performance in a larger way.

Otherwise, if you can snatch all those parts within your budget, I say go for it! (except for GPU. maybe put cooler money towards better video card?)

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Thanks will have a look at it but it gets very hot here so I might just go a a smaller cheaper version.

Trust me, I live somewhere hot and going from budget tower cooler to 240mm AIO didn't really do a whole lot. From personal experience with the 1600, the Cryorig H7 cools better than stock and performance wasn't too far off from the AIO all things considered.

I've used an FX-8350 and having the GTX H100vi made a huge difference, however, the FX-8350 is a processor people joke about being used to heat your house in the winter. The Ryzen 1600 is a much better processor that will not put out insane amounts of heat so a 240mm AIO is not a good option to outright buy(I had gotten mine in a great deal with a  GPU and mobo in the classifieds). Your money will be best spent on like a good $40-55 air cooler, and spend some money on getting some case fans for good airflow, and some good thermal paste. With the money saved you could invest into an ATX board or if you get an air cooler closer to $60 you could also drop the case fan idea entirely and get a 1TB HDD instead, so you have enough storage for more games or video footage (which takes tons of space).
