Need a little advice

I just recently bought a Galaxy S8 after my S5 died and I ended up buying an otterbox defender for it  wondering if I should also get a screen protector for it or not. I am not someone who babies there phone but I am also not someone who abuses their phone so I was hoping for someone to clarify whether or not screen protectors are still needed/used in 2018 or if they are now just a thing of the past.

It would be best to, my friend handles her phone the same way that you probably do, and the screen broke. Get a glass one so it can help the screen impact.

Screen protectors are always appreciated no matter how good the durability gets. Having any line of protection is better than relying on manufactured strength

I have had an S8 since they have came out last year, never had a screen protector and ive dropped it on its screen a few times and no scratches. but with that being said never hurts to have a screen protector and sometimes you can even tell that you have one on.
