UHS-II Card Reader Backwards compatability

I am a noob in this department but I wanted to know if I buy a UHS-II card reader will be able read from regular SDXC and SDHC cards. I am coming at this from a future proofing standpoint as I want to permanently attach the card reader to my desk.

Yes, the card reader will be able to read all older type SD cards.
