So by some miracle I have managed to build a computer, that seems to work... nearly. Link for my parts:

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/W3G3Ft

now when I get to the windows home page I cannot connect to the internet because it says I do not have any drivers for my network adapter or something along those lines. Is this because I have just installed windows 10 without any drivers? What drivers would I need to get my Ethernet connection working? Once I have that I could download all other drivers from the internet.

Any help much appreicated!

Also if lack of drivers is a problem, I guess best way to solve it is take a USB to a mates computer download them onto USB and transfer to my computer right?

only other computer in the house right now is a mac, could that work? Or do I need to find someone with a windows computer?

Ok cheers. I just realised that my Mobo came with a cd. If I bought a cheap usb optical drive could I use that to get what I need?

i mean so long as I don’t need to install drivers from the internet for the optical drive to work!

You could, but check to make sure if it even has the network drivers on it, and it’s probably cheaper to go to your friends house and download the driver.

If you have another computer you can put on USB and plug into back USB 2.0 port

doesn't matter, if you have a optical drive on it you can use it. Just download it and put onto USB
