best performance to dollar gpu now

since the mining craze is going on I would like some input on what to buy as far as gpus go i was thinking along the lines of a 980(maybe ti) or a 1060 both off of ebay orrrrrr maybe wait for the 1160/70

then dont get a 144hz monitor? 75 or 100 would be better then. Anyways, I would go used fury or 980/980Ti for that

Ehh, I saw a 144hz display in person, and the difference was pretty vast. I didn't stay long as I didn't want to end up buying it.

The difference is night and day, after trying a 144 hz monitor going back to a 60 every animation seems off and choppy compared to that buttery smoothness.

because they are not that good at mining compared to current series . they are cheaper on ebay etc..
