Windows 10 Lock screen on shut off & Hybernate

Hey everyone,

I did my first over clock today on my pc ( the minimum oc allowed on locked components )

It worked fine even got to set my own .bmp as splash screen but now late at night out of nothing windows kept returning to the lock screen rather then shutting off or going to hybernate or sleep.

Screen goes black 2 seconds, then the lock screen comes up.

I log in it works fine but then shutting off goes bad again!

Anyone who knows how to tackle this?

Since you mentioned locked components I did a google because I wondered if you should be able to overclocked a locked cpu. Very first article I found and took me about 4 seconds to notice the line

On top of that, CPU power efficiency modes (c-states) are also disabled.

I'm guessing that's what's causing the problems.

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

Don't forget to tag or quote in your reply if you want me to know you've answered or have another question.

Yeah after i went to sleep i immediatly set to the default options of the motherboard bios and it kept happening, black screens, goes to lock screen, as if a program is forcing it to keep open.

This time imma just try to reinstall windows all together today, might be because of an update, i did see that some other people have this same issue with windows.
