R3 1200 for sure. G4560 is only a dual core without overclocking capability.

1200 has no integrated graphics though.

But I'd have to agree, R3 all the way for your build @David From NerdTech

Who needs fancy graphics and high resolutions when you can get a 60 FPS frame rate on iGPUs?

Dual Core with hyperthreading though, which outperforms the 1200 in some games.

Depends on budget too which seems to be quite low, the 1200 costs about $40 more than the pentium, but definitely doesn't give $40 worth of extra performance.

Oh holy hell, the G4560 is down to $60 on Newegg.

Get that plus a B250 board and you'll save $50 for very similar performance and an upgrade path to quad cores.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

still true 4 cores are way faster than 4 threads on hyperthreading, and if he wants to record he probably is gonna edit aswell which comes in ryzen favor

If by "way faster" you mean 5-10% in games and a bit higher in general usage then sure lol.

Image result for ryzen 3 1200 vs pentium g4560 editing

The Pentium even beats the 1200 in Sony Vegas on render times.

nothing's stopping you from just using a dedicated GPU with an APU, the iGPU just gets deactivated.
