don't buy it, it's more than likely gonna blow up and kill some components with it. get a corsair CX or coolermaster masterwatt instead, much, much better units.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

I had a look, and honestly i'd be cautious with any major computer component priced that cheap especially the PSU. That aside it doesn't have a 6 pin connectors for graphics cards, and only has a 4 pin for CPU power. It also doesn't have any mention of being 80+ gold/bronze etc., from what I can see, so its likely this PSU is very inefficient. I agree with Herman above, get a corsair/cooler master they are good units.

True, but them aside they are generally good units.

And how is anyone supposed to know which units are good or not, of you just recommended by brand?

Both companies also have several other crap PSUs, and you can get old, used units from both

:)

I concede to you that you have a point, if I just name a brand there is potential people buy bad or used ones from that brand.

That is a HORRIBLE PSU.  Red flags:  Only 264W on the +12V rail.  Only 230V input.  My guess is it's really a 300W PSU with a fake label.

The advert says it's efficient, but without either 80 PLUS or Cybenetics documentation to back that, why would you believe them????  They're already lying to you about it being a 500W PSU.  They're probably lying about everything else.

I wonder: in what way is it "efficient?"

Avoid that thing like the plague. It can output less than 300W on the 12V rail and, as JG said, can only run on a 240V AC. Get a Corsair CX450 and pretend you never saw that thing.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Yeah, buy that so that it kills your computer an possibly yourself as well.

Those things are just that bad...

There is a reason that Components from named brands cost what they cost and its not that you pay for the name. That's just a Lie that some people who don't know shit about the manufacturing prices spout...
