My motherboard has 4 way sli support, however the top pci is 16x then the second is 8x then third 16x and fourth is 8x as well. My question is, can I use one 16x and one 8x for dual sli? Because the bridge I have won’t reach to the other 16x.. and if I had a longer bridge would it work that way?

8x pcie 3.0 is enough for any modern card. What gpus do you wanna sli though?

The only way I know of to get x16 to its bandwidth limit is Titan Vs in dual gpu workloads.
