Anyone have any storage container suggestions for storing extra PC parts laying around? After building and fixing for a few years the parts are starting to take up space and the current cheap tubs they were in aren't sufficient anymore and I'd like to get something that I can use that sorts the parts pretty well, but also has a decent amount of storage. Any recommendations?

The plastic containers, but that might have static build up, so cardboard boxes and paper would be good.

I guess that could work. I'd just prefer to use a more rigid storage container. Right now I'm just using plastic tubs you can get at target. Was looking at their sterilite drawer containers but most only had small drawers that could work for storing cables and small parts but not things like motherboards, GPUs and heatsinks. I might just check out storables or something.

Why dont you sell some of it and make money to upgrade your current rig? :)

Unfortunately I have a contract-based job that requires me to fly all over the place, leaving me with very little time to tend to my shrine :/. Also, most of the components are things like fans, cables and peripherals.

A big metal tool box like you see mechanics owning in garages with all the shelves and compartments, although idk if that's the best option for random computer parts.

Ive seen very large tackle boxes for fishing as well with some very big compartments on them as we'll as plastic dividers which you can add and take out so everything fits perfectly

I have a bigger, prettier version of this for tools in my shed.

If you like the idea but the tub sizes aren't what you want. You can always buy the wire shelving and tubs separately, if you want to hide it / keep some dust out / be able to lock it.

I'm considering doing this for my computer stuff. My current system of 4 large boxes is pretty annoying.

That 6 tier organizer definitely piqued my interest and is definitely something that could work.
