if you have nvida gtx 6XX and up you could try shadow play to see how it works (its free) and for the FPS use msi afterburner with rivia tuner

i already used FRAPS and adjust the setting, when i play back, theres no FPS meter show.

Dxtory is pretty good, it shows the FPS and there is minimal FPS loss in game when recording in comparison to Fraps.

you can run MSI afterburner and it will record on screen with Fraps and DXtory, it will show up after render too.

Oh, I didn't know that, i've never used it for anything but temps when gaming

OBS is also good recording software. Its pretty much only software that I've got working besides free version of Fraps.
