i have a razer blackwidow x chroma that i got for Christmas last year and the space bar has stopped working and the rgb led in the k switch has stopped working it is out of warranty as this is my fault for spilling drinks on it and was wondering what switches will be the most similar to the razer green ones that are in it?

Which year model? Because they switches from Kailh to Greetech at some point.

This guy went through the lengthy, annoying process to fix it (which includes soldering).

I'd just buy a new keyboard, something with Cherry MX switches, not Razr ones. I've spilled countless drinks on mine, so far she's still good.

ThinkPad T480 | Intel Core i7 8650u | Nvidia MX150 | 32GB DDR4 @ 2400mhz | Samsung 840 Pro 1tb

it was bought new last year and the model number is rz03-0176

Take off a keycap from a switch and look for the 'Razer' logo/name on the top of the switch (towards yourself), than check just below it. If it says 'Kailh', it's a Kailh switch. If not, it will be a Greetech.

I saw a pack of Greetech Green switches on Aliexpress, that is probably gonna be your best bet in terms of a new switch, as Razer doesn't supply these switches themselves.

Although getting a new switch will likely not solve your LED issue, if the issue is the LED being broken.

EDIT: more info on the difference in switch what they use.
