My monitors are filthy. What is the best way to clean them?

A damp paper dowel or microfiber cloth is ideal, if it's really dirty I usually use a <50% distilled water and isoprpyl mix to clean with.

Dont use any cleaning products or chemicals on LCD displays ! Remember the front of the screen of an LCD is NOT glass like Plasma and CRT's are, they are plastic and porous, chemicals can and will damage the finish.

Just use a damp cloth.
