This PSU more than fits your needs.

450 watts is plenty, it's semi-modular, and it's a quality/good performing unit.

While that PSU is definitely not recommend for your PC, it does contain the right connector for it. One 8 Pin EPS (CPU) connector and two 6+2 (or 8) pin PCIE connectors.

The VS series is meant for office builds and not full gaming builds, this is more what Corsair's CX series is meant for.

It has an 8 pin for the CPU and two 6+2 pins for PCI-E

There's all the cables it comes with.

the psu calculator said i should be fine

The VS is simply a garbage PSU. Has nothing to do with wattage.

The wattage is fine, the series, as I said, is not meant for these type of builds.

Wattage does not equal quality. I understand 20 USD seems like a steal, but there is a reason it is so much cheaper than other PSU's.

This would be a better alternative IMO: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/3hkwrH/corsair-power-supply-cp9020102na

Way better quality than the VS series, contains all the necessary connectors and is even semi modular.

A Corsair CX550M would have the connections you need.

Keep in mind, there's a difference between the "8-pin" you use for your CPU (4+4 pin connection) vs the "8-pin" (6+2 pin) you use for your GPU. They won't fit the same way so there should be no risk of plugging them in the wrong way.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Actually, the one in his PC Parts Picker is the new VS Full Range made by HEC.  It's quite good for the money.

It's the one with the orange label that's the 230VAC only from CWT.  That one had some issues.

Hm, is there a review of it that I can see? I'd like to look at its exact specs and what it looks like on the inside.

Might want to take the "page=2" off your URL since it goes to a page that doesn't have the internal photos you're referencing.

Also, since that forum thread was going on over a year ago, the ErP 2013 requirement has been added to the VS Series and is now sold in the EU.  You can tell the difference from the wattages.  The ones without ErP 2013 efficiency requirements are 400, 500 and 600W.  The ones sold in the EU with ErP 2013 are 450, 550 and 650W.  But all of them have the gray label.
