Windows 10 freezes randomly

For some reason windows 10 randomly freezes and when i open task manager my ssd is at 100% whilst my hdd is normal and the read/write speed is at 0. Ive tried alot of fixes ive tried using command prompt to stop sertain things from running ive gone into my regedit and treid changing stuff, i have downgraded my bios (gigabyte ab350 am4), i have removed my overclock. BUT NOTHING WORKS. pls send help

What process is using the disk?

Computer engineering grad student, machine learning researcher, and hobbyist embedded systems developer

 

Daily Driver:

CPU: Ryzen 7 4800H | GPU: RTX 2060 | RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz C16

 

Gaming PC:

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X | GPU: EVGA RTX 2080Ti | RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200MHz C16

Have a look at Performance Monitor within the Performance tab of Task Manager. Go to the Disk tab. Look at processes with disk activity by total.

 

Task Manager typically reports false readings. Try diskmon.

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...

It says disk usage 50% on the disk tab but there is no process that shows up taking up that much usage on my performance tab it says ssd 100%

ive fixed my performance monitor the errors are now gone but how do i see my disk performance? do i have to add a counter for it if so what is it called?
