Hello,

 

This will be my first time building my own computer. Of a budget 1500 what gen. config. should I go with? I am not a big gamer on my pc but I am a content creator. can you please help? thank you

But ya, an R7 1700, except you can't actually buy GPUs right now, so you'll probably have to settle for a GT 1030


If you can go to micro center you might be able to get a GPU near MRSP if you buy the whole system there, should be able to get a Vega 56 or GTX 1070 for that budget with the R7 chip.

But if you're feeling crazy you could nearly get a 1950X for a bit more...

Are you ok spending less? Also, do you need windows, an optical drive, a monitor, peripherals(keyboard, mouse, etc.), or a wifi card?

Well for video editing, a lot of memory is a great idea and 16gb is slowly becoming the standard for regular users.

it'll help for content creation, but if you need the OS and wireless adaptor then get 16gb for now and just jam in another kit when you have the money.

you can get the X299 Killer SLI/AC for wifi, and windows from reddit for $25 or so.
