GPU not showing signal and fans bumping to full load

Hello.

I've been having this problem from quite some time, while gaming my screen goes black and stop showing signal, then the fans of my gpu goes super noisy, so yesterday i did a gpu stress test with furmark and after 1 or 2 seconds the screen stopped showing signal and the fans started doing a super heavy sound.

what would be causing this problem? any way to fix it?

 

pc specs: i5-6500, radeon rx 480 4gb, ram 2x8gb, evga 600w

It is possible that you've fried your GPU. If yes, then it will be a sad moment for you since prices are so high at this time. You should try placing your GPU in another PC and see if it works.

Could be a bad overclock, could even be to much power draw from the PSU if you have overclocked but 600w looks plenty sufficient

is that so? because it has 1 year old and  temperatures are nothing that extreme, max i've seen is 75°C and thats playing for quite some time. i've read that it may also be that the psu is failing, could it be?

My GPU is not overclocked

Sounds like your PSU may be failing but that doesnt account for your fans ramping up. I suggest going over the basics like reinstall drivers, try another benchmark like haven while watching MSI afterburner stats to see if you can spot the problem.
