Hello, after a lot of research I think I have found a good budget build but I thought I would put it past you guys just to make sure.

ryzen 3 2200g

gigabyte a320m-hd2

8gb kit (2x4gb) 2133 patriot ram

seagate barracuda 7500rpm 1tb hard drive

rotanium prime 201 w/ SHAW EVO-max 685 psu

LG SATA DVD RW

logitech mk120 kb+mouse combo

pci-e d-link dwa-548

it all costs 499 aud new or 391.37 usd new, I plan to use it for light gaming, my max budget is 500 aud, it also needs wifi, so if you can finds better setup please comment,  I don't want to use used parts or getting parts posted.

Is this a pre-built?  and you don't want to build yourself?

This should work well, but if you're planning on playing some games, I would recommend getting a dedicated graphics card rather than using integrated graphics. However, you are on a budget and the current market doesn't exactly lend itself to budget builders right now, so short term, this is probably a good choice that leaves you with options in the future.

Looks fine, it's compatible xD. I would recommend something like a B350 board though, as it will give you overclocking capabilities and make your build ever so slightly more "future proof". I would also advise finding a board with four RAM slots if you can for a reasonable price.

The motherboard you currently have picked out only has two RAM slots, so I'd urge you consider how likely you are to want to upgrade in the future. Buying an 8GB kit that is 2x4GB sticks will limit your future options, so just be aware.

Good choice as a drive overall, but I'd recommend an SSD if you can. In my opinion, the best solution would be to buy a fairly cheap 120GB SSD to use as your OS drive and main drive until you've got $45 saved to buy that Seagate drive a little later. 120GB should hold you over for long enough.

Not a great card, I would certainly go for no less than AC wireless. Here's a similarly priced one (cheaper actually) that should work much better than the one you have selected: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/qn3RsY/tp-link-wireless-network-card-archert4u

Hope this gives you some more insight to your build!

Thanks for the help but a b250 board costs about $60 more for overclocking only

due to ryzen being picky with ram I would need to buy a kit of ram if I want dual channel in the future, it would also cost me about $130 more to run 16gb so I think what I plan is good enough

the d-link archer t4u is about $50-60 so it is way overpriced, if there is another solution for Internet that is really cheap please let me know

i think the ssd idea is good

i also don't want to have parts in the post because I don't want to send it back and wait ages for it to arrive again

No this is not a prebuilt, you can't get cheap but good prebuilts in au

Oh OK, it was when you said "I don't want to get parts posted", it made me think you didn't want "parts" to build yourself... I think you meant that you want to buy locally in a shop, not delivered then?

Ah, okay, if the B350 motherboard is $60 more, then I'd say just leave it. I linked a TP-Link Archer in my first reply, that card is a pretty good wireless solution.
