Sorry if in wrong place wasn't too sure.

So I've got an RGB waterblock from ek, it's the z370 monoblock, I've connected it to a RGB header but I cannot get the block to light up?

Im not too sure how the headers work and the instructions are completely useless (eks fault) the motherboard is a gigabyte z370 auros gaming 7.

If anyone can give me as much advice as possible it'd be greatly appreciated

Check your connections and the pinout of the motherboard header to the waterblock to ensure they match and are oriented in the correct direction, Gigabute doesn't follow the common standard from my understanding so you may need an adapter.

I'm using an EK block on an X370 board.  Do you have the RGB header oriented correctly?  It can go one of two ways.  Do you have RGB Fusion installed?  Download it from the Gigabyte website (under your board - support - utilities).

Mine works just fine.  Honestly though the EK RGB lighting is lackluster on my monoblock.  It is just one small strip at the one end of the block, the color isn't great compared to the board lights and the RGB strips I have, and it is dimmer.  Especially if I dim the lighting effect, at a certain point it doesn't maintain color anymore, just turns white-ish.

Ryzen 7 2700X , Asus Prime X570-Pro, Bykski CPU Block, AMD Vega 56, Barrow GPU block, g.Skill Ripjaws V 32GB PC2800, Dual EKWB SE360 Radiators, Corsair RM750x PSU. All in a Lian-Li PC011 Dynamic XL case.

I'm still trying to get them to send me a new strip as ek are being very unreliable, first their radiator came poor qaulity, second the RGB connector for the reservoir doesn't reach the motherboard header, now they sent me a new led strip but they sent the wrong one so now I've got to wait yet again for another strip to come
