Posted February 24, 2018 I own a motherboard of gigabyte named "ga-b250m-ds3h" . It has a cpu fan header, and a system fan header. I wanted to attach more than one system fan using splitter cable. Please let me know how many fans can I add without causing any trouble for my motherboard. Posted February 24, 2018 You can have about 5 before you start burning fan headers. USEFUL LINKS: PSU Tier List | F@H stats
Posted February 24, 2018 Most motherboards support up to 1A per header. Depending on the type of fan you buy, that'll be anywhere between 2 and 5 fans.
Posted February 24, 2018 The sum of the current of all your fans must be below the manufacturer specs (2000mA here).

On its page gigabyte has written that every fan header supports high current fan upto 24w( 2A*12v) with over current protection. What does this mean?? What does this mean?? Means that you can run about 4 0.5A fans. A (or amps) is a measure of current draw. The fan header can support up to 2A, meaning about 4 higher-amps-than-average desktop fans. Posted February 24, 2018 They are probably using PTC resettable fuses (passive component) to protect against overcurrent,
