Help

So I'm thinking about getting a Ryzen 1500x to replace my X4 860K because I literally can't run any ubisoft games without my cpu being at 70-100% and my fps being horrible.

But I need to know if a Ryzen1500x pairs well with a GTX 1050ti Superclocked. (also I only have 8gb of ddr3. should I upgrade that to 16gbs?)

get a 2400g rather than 1500x.

1050ti can run with any cpu.

Depending on use case, it can be better/worse.

Lower clocks but more cores.  Most games still prefer higher clocks.

If OP is okay overclocking then ignore the 1600x. Get the 1600 and OC it. Mine got to 3.9 GHz with little voltage bumb so even if they only went to the 3.6 of the 1600x it probably wouldn't need any extra volts

search "how to oc ryzen 1600", you'll find many guides to do it.

If paired with 1050ti, absolutely.

Its the best bang for the buck in current Ryzen lineup.

Yes, 1600 would be just fine.

1600x would need another $30 to get a decent heatsink, as it doesn't come with one.

I built my pc in like..2016 but I never did anything on it and never played it so I'm kinda new to all of this.

1050ti + 1600 = 60fps.

You cannot use DDR3 with Ryzen so you'll be looking at moving to DDR4

Simple answer - Cost. 1050ti isn't crazy inflated from mining. 1060 is
