So a while back, i put in a order for a MSI GTX 1070ti on Novatech, at £460 and also had a 10% discount code, taking it down to £414. Just checked back at some listings and now they are advertising it at a much higher price.

Personal bias against MSI gear aside, I think you got a good deal.

That 460 quid was about MSRP for a 1070Ti, so that was pretty okay. Did you actually get a card or are you still waiting? If the latter, you'll probably never take delivery at that price sadly.

ikr? gaming X is one of the best GPU series along side Zotac AMP Extreme, Gigabyte Xtreme and Asus Strix, well minus the ugly red color that I hate, it is hella quiet and cool

Im currently waiting for it. I ordered it a few weeks ago. Had an update from them saying they should be looking to dispatch in about a week or two.

You'd be either super lucky or precedent to a major price drop. Keep us posted

Sounds like a good deal you got. The original price they quoted you without the discount looks like MSRP, so it’s a great catch. I got my EVGA 1070 Ti for £470, and now they’re like £800 on Amazon when available..

Damn that's a good deal, especially with EVGA, they have some of the best customer support out there. When did you get yours?

@BaronButtsie I got it from Scan.co.uk on New Years Eve. Funnily enough I got it thinking it was a good deal during the Boxing Day sales since they said the FTW2 should have been £499 and the sale price was £470. But I didn’t even know about the GPU shortage and miners stuff at the time, so thinking now that £499 normal price without the sale reduction was still unusually low for only 6 weeks ago.

That's a good deal, wish i jumped on that at the time xD. Yea most retailers are either out of stock and don't know when their will be or they have stock but are charging a ridiculous amount for them, like on Scan where the cheapest is £599.

You should know that Novatech reserve the right to increase the price you’ll pay until the day of dispatch. So don’t be sure you’ll be paying that lower price until they’ve charged you.
