Posted February 19, 2018 So I’m new to this whole PC MasterRace, I’ve been trying to build my first ever gaming pc and I need some professional help, I have a GEFORCE GTX NVIDIA 1050 2gb, a hyperX 8gig Ram, EVGA 500w 80+ power supply and a Rosewill Micro ATX case. I’m trying to game over medium settings and play games like overwatch at high to ultra settings and other games at least high settings too. Can anyone help recommend a processor and motherboard for me? I was thinking maybe an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 but I’m not sure what you guys think? Teach me the ways! Posted February 19, 2018 The Ryzen 3 2200G is better than the Ryzen 3 1200 and the same as the Ryzen 3 1300x, and it's only 100 bucks, and includes decent integrated graphics (much better than Intel's) in case something goes wrong with your GTX 1050. They're basically the same, spec and performance wise, and the 2200G is 20 bucks less. And, like I said, the integrated graphics can keep him afloat if anything ever goes wrong with his GPU. Small chance, but a nice-to-have. Edited February 19, 2018 by Sir_Salmon Including a benchmark comparison.
