System not booting when CPU (4+4pin) cable is plugged in to PSU

So I recently put an SSD in my PC and when I went to boot from my Windows 10 flash drive, the system will no longer boot to BIOS. 

The system will not boot and a click can be heard from each PSU I try with.

 

- Have done paperclip test.
- Have checked CPU pins.
- Have tried different DIMM slots and sticks.
- Have tried booting without GPU.

 

Please send help.

Asus Strix GTX 1080
32Gb (2x8Gb) Trident Z RAM
Corsair TX650M
Asus Strix Z270F Motherboard
Corsair MP500 SSD
Seagate 2TB Firecuda

Did you check that you don't have a short or part of Mobo touching the back panel or something allowing current to pass to the case metal?

Yeah, I had some issues after plugging an SSD and getting my PC to boot. I unplugged the SSD and it booted up just fine, so I said fuck it and put the SSD back into a box, till I can get a more power efficient CPU. The one I had in the rig is a toaster FX-8350.

Probably over current protection triggering, take the SSD out and see if you can get into bios

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

So a quick update guys, I have taken the SSD out and breadboarded my build with minimal parts. Picutres to follow. Still same problem though :/
