as said above an arduous would be fun. Maybe a circuit kit and a soldiering iron to build a cheap electronic.

Ehhh...I can only really think about earbuds. 

 

But a really cool tech item you can by is an arm clamp for your bed so you can hookup a tablet/phone/Nintendo Switch over your head. It's awesome. Best $20 ever spent.
